Chalked Fairy

Years ago I did some calligraphy courses and worked a bit with chalk sticks.  I hadn't pulled them out a lot since.  Seeing a challenge that involved using chalk, I decided it was time they saw the light of day!

I am entering the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 - Sketch #2

Brown Sugar - Use chalk

Penny's Paper - Anything Goes
http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2014/01/welcome-to-pennys-challenge-159.html

I have used paper from a scrapbooking paper pack that I have had for some years.  I also used some cardstock that I have had for hours.  The image is from The Stamping Boutique and has been die-cut using a circle die from Spellbinders and then chalked round the edge with gold chalk.  The image is coloured with a combination of copic markers and Stickles - Gold.  The matting is glitter cardstock from DCWV die-cut with a scallop circle die from Spellbinders.  The addition of three pearls finishes the card.

Here is the sketch that I used:

  2. I love what you've created Suze! Isn't it wonderful when you pull something out of your stash to use that you haven't used in a long time. That image is just lovely and the gold really pops.

Thanks for joining us this week at Brown Sugar. Good luck.
