The technique I have used to create the background is one I usually use when creating gift cards at Christmas time. It is a great way to use up the "bits" left over when covering a card with patterned paper.
I would like to enter my card into these challenges:

I have used various offcuts from other cards to create the paper pieced background. I kept mainly to pastel shades where I could. The image is from The East Wind and has been coloured with pastel coloured copic markers. I added some glitter to the flowers and the balloons. I also added some clear bling to the card. The die I have used for the image comes from Spellbinders.
Lovely card love the image, your paper piecing background is great. thanks for sharing at Glitter n Sparkle Chris DT x
