I found a challenge yesterday that I have never entered before and thought that as I have a bit more time on my hands, I'd have a go at it. I enjoyed the challenge of so many elments so will probably try and join in with this one more often. I think I have used all the elements on the wheel but I might be a bit wrong with some of the colours.
I would like to enter:
Butterfly Challenge - Letter E

Catch The Bug - Back To Nature

Stella Says Sketch - Sketch

I have used a textured cardstock for the base of the easel card. I die-cut a piece of the card using a Spellbinders die with a fancy edge for the stopper. I die-cut some butterflies using Memory Box dies and added two of them to the stopper. I also added three flower gems to the lower part of the easel.
For the top part of the easel, I followed the sketch at Stella Says Sketch. I embossed a piece of white cardstock using a butterfly themed embossing folder. The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and the sentiment from a paper pad by Kaisercraft. I also added another butterfly (from the ones that I die-cut). The two smaller pieces of paper have been die-cut from offcuts from other cards. The purple one is from Rosie's Studio but not sure of the source of the blue one.
My laptop keeps missing characters as I'm typing. I'm going back and fixing them but I'm bound to miss a few so if something looks weird it will be missing a letter or two.

Hi Suze!
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to find some place new to challenge ourselves, isn't it? I'm really glad you were able to knock both of the Catch the Bug challenges out with this one lovely card. Thanks for joining us, and good luck! :)
