You make the world a better place

I haven't managed to fit in much crafting time for the past week or so.  This is my busiest time of the year with work and I've also had to take my Mum to quite a few appointments.  This morning, I managed to carve out a bit of crafting time before I have to take my Mum to another appointment.  This is the result:

I have used a paper from a paper pad.  The image is from Crafty Sentiments and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.   Colouring is with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I added some gold ribon, a flower and a glitter dome (for the centre of the flower).

Happy Birthday

Once again I have managed to use all seven elements, although I'm not sure that my mauve is pale!

Butterfly Challenge - T is for....

I have used two different papers from Kaisercraft paper pads plus a teal one from another paper pad.  I added a flower to the centre which my two butterflies have been to visit and are now flying away.  I added a twine bow to the centre top and a sentiment from Trimgym to the centre bottom.

I followed the tutorial for a Tunnel Card.

Hello Friend

Late last year I started joining in with the Card Chain Challenge which is an international card exchange.  It is so lovely to get a card in the mail - instead of bills!

This is the card that I created for the February exchange, which went to Marga in Spain.

I have used some watercolour paints from Gansai Tambi to create the lines across the card and also edge the sentiment.  I really like the colours and shimmer of these watercolour paints and wish it came in more colours than it does!

I die-cut a leaf in silver that I placed on top of a die-cut navy shape.  The sentiment is from Desert Diva.

I managed to use most of the prompts for the February exchange.

This was our prompts for the month:

There's No Place Like Home

This fortnight our challenge theme at Incy Wincy Designs is Handcoloured images - that means no pre-coloured images to be used.  Our sponsor for the challenge is Beccy's Place.

I have used an image and sentiment from a set from Beccy's Place called Little Cottage Digital Stamps.  I needed to make a card for some new home owners so this image and sentiment was perfect!

I also used a digital paper.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I followed a tutorial for an Impossible Card which can be found in the Card Fold Tutorials section of Beccy's Place blog.

Easter

It's the beginning of March already. We have another Anything Goes Challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  This challenge we are sponsored by Fred She Said.

I have used images from a set from Fred She Said called ase Chicky. The flowers and the chick are both from the same set.

Colouring is with copic makers and Wink Of Stella.  I added a sentiment and also dots between the flowers with a pigment liner.

Merry Christmas

The optional theme this week at CHNC is "Vintage or Shabby Chic".  I am not that great on shabby chic so I went vintage with my card:

I have used a digital paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image and sentiment are from Bugaboo Stamps.  I added some vintage looking lace across the card.

I followed the sketch at Stella Says Sketch.
