Missing You at Christmas

I have been creating Christmas cards recently with alot of non-traditional colours.  For this one though I have gone with the candy cane colour scheme:

The card is for the following challenges:

There always seems to be some of my friends that I am not able to see at Christmas time so the Missing You message is an appropriate one for their cards.  I couldn't find an appropriate sentiment among my collection of sentiments so typed this one out on the computer.

The background papers are all from Free Digital Scrapbooking.  They were blending into each other a bit much so I drew some faux stitching around each piece using a Distress Marker.  It's a bit hard to pick up but the white lower layer is a vellum snowflake pattern.  The red ones are either red candy canes on red or white diagonal stripes on red - again not the easiest to pick up from the way I layered them and the quality of the photograph!

The image that I have used is a darling image from Meljens Designs called Stocking Kitten.  I have coloured this using copic markers and added some kindy glitz to the fur trim on the stocking.

Now, the hard part is going to be deciding which of my special friends that I'm not going to be with at Christmas time is going to receive this card!
