Merry Christmas

The background for this card was a happy accident.  I put the cardstock in upside down so I ended up with the de-bossed side on the top.  I was going to re-do it but then decided that it looked quite effective.

Try Stampin' on Tuesdays - Sketch + Trees

Beccy's Place - Month of Holiday Cards

I  embossed the background with an embossing folder.  The two papers used are scraps from other November cards.  The image and sentiment are from Beccy's Place.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I followed this sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday:

  1. I agree Suze... debossing looks just as good to me, sometimes better! Love your colouring of the tree, the shiny baubles are fabulous.

  2. Wonderful Christmas card and love the embossing folder! Thanks for sharing with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! :)

  3. Sometimes those 'accidents' end up being better that what we first imagined, and it looks great on this card Suze - a wonderful result

  4. So cute, Suze! Great take on the sketch, too. Thank you for joining us at TSOT #634. -- Melanie R.

  5. Great job of continuing past your oops and making a fabulous card. Sometimes our little oops leads us in directions we hadn't considered. Nice interpretation of our sketch. Thanks for joining us at Try Stampin' On Tuesday.

  6. Suze, isn't it wonderful when an accident turns into a wonderful feature?!?! Love your interpretation of our TSOT sketch challenge that even included our option tree theme!! Thank you so much for sharing your creative talents with us once again!!! -Donna
